Lynne Steinbach, MD, is Professor Emeritus of Clinical Radiology and Orthopaedic Surgery and a nationally recognized authority in musculoskeletal imaging. A former Chief of Musculoskeletal Imaging at UCSF and prior Fellowship Director, Dr. Steinbach has decades of high-level academic and clinical experience. Dr. Steinbach’s expertise includes advanced musculoskeletal MRI, MR arthrography, postoperative imaging, peripheral nerve evaluation, ACL reconstruction, sciatica, and rotator cuff pathology.
Dr. Steinbach has authored more than 180 peer-reviewed publications, multiple textbooks, and numerous book chapters. She is a member or numerous prestigious associations including the American College of Radiology and is also a recipient of the International Skeletal Society Founders Medal. Dr. Steinbach provides clear, defensible opinions and is well respected for her objective approach and ability to clearly interpret complex imaging findings in a legal context.
