Dr. Renee Alas is a licensed clinical psychologist based in Southern CA. Dr. Alas has over 15 years of clinical and forensic experience. She earned her Psy.D. at Pepperdine University and is a Diplomate and Certified CBT Practitioner through the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. She is trained in evidence-based treatments including CPT for PTSD, DBT, and CBT.
Dr. Alas currently serves as Team Lead/Clinical Psychologist for a large VA Residential Rehabilitation Program, treating veterans with complex substance use and psychiatric conditions. Her background also includes crisis evaluation work with LA County’s Psychiatric Mobile Response Team, outpatient care at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, and forensic evaluations with a large Hospital’s Conditional Release Program. She has additional training in neuropsychological assessment from multiple UCLA externships and has co-authored published research on PTSD, TBI, and post-traumatic growth.
