George Balfour, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand, shoulder, and elbow surgery, with over four decades of clinical experience. 

Dr. Balfour earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1973. He completed his internship at Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center in 1974, followed by orthopedic surgery residencies at USC/LA General Medical Center and Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital, concluding in 1980. He then pursued a fellowship in hand surgery, under the direction of Herbert Stark, M.D., Charles R. Ashworth, M.D., completing it in 1981.

Dr. Balfour has contributed to medical literature, with publications focusing on hand surgery techniques. He is a highly experienced and educated orthopaedic surgeon and is available for med-legal evaluations.
