Wesley Chan, MD

Wesley P. Chan, MD, MPH, is a board-certified occupational medicine physician and California Qualified Medical Evaluator.  He earned his medical degree from the University of Southern California, completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of California, Davis Medical Center, and completed his residency in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at the University of Southern California. Dr. Chan also obtained a Master of Public Health degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, further strengthening his expertise in population health, workplace safety, and injury prevention.

Throughout his career, Dr. Chan has held numerous medical leadership positions, including Medical Director for several prominent occupational medicine organizations throughout California. His experience includes utilization review, peer review consulting, return-to-work planning, impairment assessment, and complex occupational injury management. He has training, expertise and experience in workers’ compensation injury care, disability management, medical case management and utilization review, along with employee health and wellness.
