Jeffrey Coe, MD

Dr. Jeffrey Coe is a board-certified, fellowship trained orthopaedic spine surgeon with more than three decades of experience treating complex spinal conditions. He completed advanced fellowship training in reconstructive spine surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital and specializes in cervical and lumbar spine disorders, spinal deformity, reconstruction, and minimally invasive spine surgery. Dr. Coe has held leadership positions in spine and orthopedic surgery, has an extensive background in spinal research and education, and is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Scoliosis Research Society.

Throughout his career, Dr. Coe has provided specialized spinal care to individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including members of the U.S. Ski Team and young patients at Shriners Hospitals for Children in St. Louis. He has also volunteered internationally, traveling overseas to provide spinal care to individuals with critical medical needs.

Dr. Coe has practiced in Silicon Valley for nearly 25 years and has been involved in advancing the field of spine surgery through research, education, and innovation. His research interests include spinal biomechanics, disc replacement, scoliosis, and spinal instrumentation. His work has been presented at national and international conferences, published in peer-reviewed medical journals, and included in surgical textbooks. He also teaches advanced spine surgery techniques to fellow surgeons.

In addition to his clinical and academic work, Dr. Coe is a highly respected medical expert and California QME.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Coe enjoys photography, travel, cycling, and hiking.
