Fred Cohen, MD

Dr. Fred L. Cohen, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurosurgeon and pain medicine specialist with more than five decades of experience in the evaluation and treatment of complex neurological and spinal disorders. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his residency in Neurological Surgery at the State University of New York Upstate Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Cohen is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pain Medicine. Throughout his distinguished career, he has maintained active clinical practices in both neurosurgery and pain management, while holding medical licenses in multiple states, including California.

Dr. Cohen has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in neurosurgery, pain medicine, patient safety, medical ethics, and legal medicine, including scholarly work addressing expert medical testimony and standards of care.
