Dr. Cortes is a double board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon. She has treated countless patients in a multitude of sports, performing treatment and surgical techniques that have permitted their return to sport activities without impairment. When appropriate, Dr. Cortes utilizes arthroscopic or minimally invasive surgery that can limit soft-tissue trauma and decrease a patient’s
recovery time.
Dr. Cortes specializes in lower limb fractures, tendon and ligament injuries, ankle cartilage injuries, hammertoes, bunions and lower limb deformities. Her practice is grounded by her extensive clinical experience as well as her dedication to her patients’ well-being.
