Farshid Etaee, MD

Dr. Farshid Etaee, MD, is an ABIM-certified Internal Medicine physician, Interventional Vein Specialist, and Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) in California with a diverse clinical background spanning internal medicine, emergency medicine, venous disease, and aesthetic medicine.

He currently practices as a high-volume interventional vein specialist and serves as Medical Director overseeing multiple medical spas across California, with extensive experience in cosmetic procedures, clinical oversight, regulatory compliance, and supervision of advanced practice providers, with expertise in procedures such as neuromodulators (Botox), dermal fillers, PRP/PRF therapies, microneedling, laser treatments, PDO thread lifts, and hair restoration surgeries, among others. He specializes in the treatment of varicose veins and chronic venous disease using minimally invasive, ultrasound-guided procedures. His clinical background also includes emergency department experience, as well as founding and directing a family medicine clinic and an addiction treatment center, providing a comprehensive understanding of longitudinal patient care and multi-system disease management. As an internist, he has extensive experience managing a wide range of acute and chronic internal medicine conditions.

Dr. Etaee is also Adjunct Faculty at the American Canadian School of Medicine and a former Scientist Member of the Yale Institutional Review Board (IRB). He has served as Principal Investigator and Sub-Investigator in more than 30 clinical trials and is an active collaborator in the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) research program. He has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications, delivered more than 30 national and international presentations, and has accumulated over 18,500 citations.

As a QME, Dr. Etaee provides comprehensive, objective, and evidence-based medical-legal evaluations in accordance with California Workers’ Compensation guidelines. His expertise includes:
