Yashar Ilkhchoui, MD

Dr. Yashar Ilkhchoui is a board-certified, fellowship trained anesthesiology and pain medicine specialist based out of Southern California.  His clinical interests include pain resulting from underlying disease (cancer, neuropathy, spine & joint) using a variety of treatment approaches.

Dr. Ilkhchoui received his medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and residency in anesthesiology at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He then completed a fellowship in pain medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Ilkhchoui is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in anesthesiology and pain medicine. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine and serves as a qualified medical evaluator (QME) for the California Department of Worker’s Compensation.
