Dr. Alan K. Newman is an esteemed dentist based in California. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, and has been building on that foundation ever since.
Dr. Newman has held numerous leadership roles as a Chief Dental Officer as well as a Dental Director. Along with his treating work, he is a California Qualified Medical Evaluator and an Investigator for the Arizona Board of Dental Examiners, roles that speaks to the trust his peers place in his judgment and integrity.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Newman has worn a lot of hats: Teledentistry Consultant, Orthodontic Network Consultant, and Chief Dental Officer for several dental practices. His clinical experience spans general and cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and surgical extractions, and he has deep expertise in insurance programs. He’s helped build clinical protocols from the ground up, mentored and trained staff, and played a hands-on role in practice growth and expansion. He’s also a certified auditor for the California Association of Dental Plans.
