Rodney J. Reid, MD, PhD, QME is a board-certified psychiatrist, with extensive training in forensic psychiatric evaluation. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and completed a PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of California, Riverside. Dr. Reid completed residency training in General Psychiatry at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, followed by fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Oregon Health & Science University and a Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of California, Davis. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
As a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME), Dr. Reid provides comprehensive psychiatric and psychological injury evaluations. His specialized training in forensic psychiatry allows him to perform objective, evidence-based assessments involving causation, apportionment, permanent disability, fitness for duty, and other complex medico-legal issues. Dr. Reid is recognized for delivering thorough evaluations and timely reports that assist attorneys, claims professionals, and adjudicators in resolving disputed claims.
