Mounir Soliman, MD is a board-certified Psychiatrist. He holds leadership positions at both UC San Diego Health Sciences and the Department of Psychiatry. As the Assistant Vice Chancellor and Executive Director of Health Sciences International – he provides the overall leadership for the strategic planning and development of the international programs for the school of medicine, school of pharmacy and pharmaceutical science, healthcare system and integrative research.
Dr. Soliman is a member of the UC San Diego Medical Board of Governors and the UC San Diego Professional Standards Committee. He is also a member of the Steering Committee for Global Health Initiatives and serves on the Springboard Panel for The CONNECT Program. Nationally, he serves as an external reviewer for the AAMC Medical Education and as a Consultant to the Council on International Psychiatry for American Psychiatric Association.
