Denise Townsend, MD

Dr. Denise Townsend, BSN, MD, is a board-certified internist and California Qualified Medical Evaluator with more than 35 years of experience in internal medicine and geriatrics. She completed her medical training and Internal Medicine residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center and has remained actively involved in clinical practice, education, and mentorship throughout her career.

In addition to serving as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and an Attending Physician at the Loma Linda VA Hospital, Dr. Townsend has held numerous leadership roles in academic and community medicine. For her med-legal work, she is committed to providing thorough, evidence-based assessments supported by detailed record review, clinical expertise, and clear, well-reasoned reporting.
