Alexander Tsang, MD

Dr. Alexander Tsang, is a board-certified psychiatrist and California Qualified Medical Evaluator.  He has training and experience in general, emergency, inpatient, and forensic psychiatry. He completed his psychiatry residency at the University of California, Riverside, where he also served as an educator for medical students and junior residents. Dr. Tsang earned his medical degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine.

Dr. Tsang currently serves as a Staff Psychiatrist at State Hospital, providing forensic inpatient psychiatric care, and practices as a telepsychiatrist in emergency, inpatient, and consult-liaison settings. His professional experience includes extensive work in forensic psychiatry through State Hospitals, County detention facilities, as well as inpatient and emergency psychiatric services.

In his med-legal practice, Dr. Tsang is committed to providing objective evaluations supported by record review, clinical training and expertise.
