Dr. Petrofsky is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Occupational and Environmental Medicine Physician with a Master Degree in Public Health. She started her career as an Air Force Aerospace Medicine Physician “ flight surgeon” with expertise in Hyperbaric Medicine, International Travel Medicine and Expeditionary Medicine. Dr. Petrofsky has more than 24 years of occupational safety experience with preventing, assessing, identifying and reducing workplace hazards. From working with NASA as a Medical Consultant to serving as a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Petrofsky has an impressive and diverse background.

Dr Petrofsky is the Occupational and Employee Health Medical Director for hospital systems in the North Bay and Truckee NorCal region, as well as a Designated Senior Aviation Medical Examiner and a Certified Qualified Medical Examiner. Areas of expertise include Occupational and Environmental exposures to infectious and airborne chemical agents.

Dr. Petrofsky is a highly trained and experienced physician and is available for Fit-for Duty and medical/legal evaluations.
