Allen Thomas, DC

Dr. Allen Thomas is a certified chiropractor based in Southern California with over 23 years of experience.  Dr. Thomas is Trauma Qualified, Hospital Qualified, and Advanced MRI Interpretation and Review Qualified. His training was obtained through Cleveland University in Kansas City and the Academy of Chiropractic Postdoctoral Division in Buffalo, New York, with programs conducted under the ACCME joint providership of the State University of New York at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Since 2021, he has served as an active trauma team member, bringing this expertise to both clinical and med-legal contexts.

With extensive training in both chiropractic and medical academia, Dr. Thomas has developed a highly specialized focus on spinal ligament injuries—the number one cause of pain and disability worldwide. He trained under a group of pioneering physicians who standardized the spinal injury workup, creating a structured approach that remains rare among physicians and chiropractors alike. This advanced knowledge makes him a recognized authority in identifying and documenting ligament damage and its implications in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases.

Dr. Thomas also has unique expertise in the age-dating of spinal injuries, a field understood by only a small handful of physicians across the country. This skill is particularly critical in med-legal work, where distinguishing pre-existing conditions from acute injuries can decisively impact the outcome of a case.

Beyond his clinical evaluations, Dr. Thomas regularly consults attorneys across the nation. Dr. Thomas is the proud father of three teenagers. He lives in Los Angeles, California, where he balances his professional work with an active family life. In his spare time, he and his sons enjoy trail bike riding on motorcycles, camping, and outdoor adventures. He also cherishes visiting his family on the East Coast, where time at the lake house often includes memorable fishing trips.
