Dr. Colucci is a board-certified audiologist.  He has forty-seven years of clinical, industrial, educational, and rehabilitative audiology, including twenty-five years of forensic practice. Dr. Colucci has an in-depth understanding of evaluating and treating newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. In addition, I specialize in advanced site-of-lesion testing for hearing and balance disorders utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostics and electrophysiological assessments.

He has performed hundreds of consultations helping patients with tinnitus and hyperacusis find relief, including those with pain hyperacusis.  Dr. Colucci’s industrial audiology experience comes from the petroleum, nuclear power, and lumber industries. As an industrial audiologist, he has performed hundreds of worker’s compensation determinations, assisted in developing OSHA hearing conservation programs, provided earplug fit-testing, sound level measurements, and noise exposure employee training.

In addition, he has vast experience with police and fire, fitness for duty examinations, amplification, and hearing protection for weapons and heavy equipment. As an expert witness, he has provided testimony or consulted for Fortune 500 companies, municipalities, government agencies, legal practices, and individuals.  His specialty areas include noise-induced hearing loss, tinnitus, hyperacusis, OSHA regulations, veteran’s medical disability examinations, airbag deployment, blast injuries, TBI, ADA, discrimination, malpractice, and audio-vestibular complications of head and neck injuries.
