Robert Kolesnik, MD

Robert Kolesnik, MD, holds over 25 years of experience as an orthopaedic surgeon in Southern California. He currently holds staff appointments at San Antonio Community Hospital, Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, and Rancho Specialty Hospital. Over the course of his medical career, Dr. Robert Kolesnik has contributed to the development of his field by delivering several academic presentations. For example, he presented on the topic, “When Total Joint Replacement is Indicated in the Treatment of Arthritis” at the 1987 Arthritis Expo. At the Symposium on Osteogenesis Imperfecta, he previously presented “Percutaneous Pinning and Osteoclasis for Correction of Long Bone Deformity in Osteogenesis Imperfecta.” Dr. Robert Kolesnik has also contributed academic work to the Journal of Orthopaedics.

He graduated summa cum laude in 1975 from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and subsequently earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Southern California/Keck School of Medicine in 1979. He continued his postgraduate internship and residency at Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Medical Center and then went on to a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver, Colorado. Continuing to engage in his career, Dr. Robert Kolesnik holds professional memberships with organizations including the California Orthopaedic Association, the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
