Thomas Pyo, MD

Dr. Pyo is a board-certified psychiatrist. In addition to seeing patients in his own private practice, Dr. Pyo provides qualified medical evaluations, independent medical evaluations, and fitness for duty evaluations.

Apart from Dr. Pyo’s considerable experience and proficiency in Telepsych, he holds clinical expertise in delivering care within adult and child outpatient and inpatient psychiatric settings as well as psychiatric emergency rooms. He has extensive training and experience in psychiatric assessment and treatment, with crisis stabilization and management.

Dr. Pyo has participated in probable cause hearings, writ hearings, conservatorship process, and submitted Riese petitions. He produces descriptive, medicolegal focused medical documentation, and when requested, expert testimony.

Dr. Pyo is fluent in English, Spanish and Korean Conversant and is available for medicolegal evaluations throughout the state of California.
