Dr. Zweig is a board-certified general surgeon. He has performed over fifteen thousand major general surgery cases, involving all aspects of general surgery. During his time at Kaiser Permanente, he actively instructed UCLA general surgery residents. While in private practice, he also instructed Cedars-Sinai general surgery residents. Dr. Zweig has extensive experience in breast, thyroid, gastrointestinal and laparoscopic surgery and a special interest in inguinal hernia and laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
